For those of you who believe that Jesus had children with Mary Magdalene and married her,?
do you think the St. Clair family today would know anything about this? I know that their family is tied into the rumor that Jesus married Mary Magdalene and had children with her. Rosslyn Chapel was featured in the Da Vinci Code, and I have found that church to be linked to this rumor through research of my own. I’d love to know if anyone in the St. Clair family still knows anything about this, and what they know.

I don’t know about the whole, "Mary gettin’ jiggy with the Holy J" theory of religion, but I do know Mary was thought to be not only one of Jesus’ disciples, but one of the most important:

Several Gnostic writings, usually dated to 2nd and 3rd centuries, have a drastically different view of Mary Magdalene than the canonical Gospels. Gnosticism was a Christian movement that was declared heretical in 388, resulting in persecution, suppression and almost total destruction of their heritage, that survives today mostly in fragmented manuscripts.

In Gnostic writings, Mary Magdalene is seen as one of the most important, if not the most important disciple whom Jesus loved more than the others. The Gnostic Gospel of Philip even names Mary Magdalene as Jesus’ companion. Writings also describe tensions and jealousy between Mary Magdalene and other disciples, especially Peter.

karmagrl76 | Jan 30, 2010

This myth came about from the book Holy Blood, Holy Grail by Michael Baigent, Richard Leigh, and Henry Lincoln. Brown, who wrote da vinci code even gives them a little omage by naming one of the characters Leigh Teabing (Teabing being Baigent scrambled up).

Holy Blood, Holy Grail based most of their information on the tale told by a descendant of the St. Clair family, who before he died admitted that it was all a hoax. The St. Clair family is in no way tied to Mary Magdalene or the Priory of Scion.

However, there is a small village in (spain I think?) that does have a folklore legend about a woman named Mary coming to their village on a boat with her young daughter Sarah. They hold the belief that this Mary was the Magdalene, and Sarah was Jesus’ daughter. Whether its true or not can never be proven.

I never thought I’d see a WebLogic question here. You’d be better off posting questions about WebLogic on the WebLogic-related forums at <http://forums.oracle.com/forums/category .jspa?categoryID=193>.

I would make sure you’re clear on exactly what error messages you’re getting, and what application you’re running when you get the errors. I have a feeling it isn’t WebLogic that is "asking for shut down", but your IDE (Eclipse, Workshop, etc.).

Generally, I would build tasks like you’re trying to do here in Ant (or perhaps Maven) and run them from the command line, or from your IDE, instead of trying to generate the client jar directly from the IDE. You can get more detailed information when you run it from the command line, and you will likely have more flexibility in options settings.

Also be very clear about what versions of software you’re using (Eclipse, Workshop, WebLogic, etc.).

You may also want to review the relevant WebLogic documentation books on XML and XSD.

What do you think about my writing?
Okay, so this is going to be a bit long, and I’m sorry about that, but if you don’t want to read it, that’s fine with me. If you do though, please tell me what you think and give me advice. This story is just a fan fiction, (of Sasuke from Naruto) but it is very closely formated to the Novel I am writing.

Acolytes
Acolytes (2008)

IMDB rating: 5.80

Plot: James Tresswick and Mark Vincent are victims of a brutal bully Gary Parker who has maltreated both boys, marking their bodies and spoiling their young lives. In their last year of high school, James and Mark find a way to stop being victims. They’re going to kill Gary; Wandering alone around an isolated forest - the suspected site of the disappearance of a local girl - 17 year old Mark strays upon an adult male filling in a trench. It’s suspicious and tantalizing. Mark returns with his friend James and Chasley Keys and they bring shovels to exhume what will probably be rotting garbage or someone’s dead pet - or so they tell themselves. They find the ghostly white body of a woman. She’s a tourist - a Canadian backpacker. The “trench” is a grave. The “adult male” is her killer. And they’ve got him by the balls. Responding to Mark’s intimations James floats an idea to seek out “the sicko”. It’ll be a bit of fun. He’s confident the guy lives in their suburb; Mark saw his car parked on a trail; Mark knows what the car looks like; Mark knows what he looks like. It can be done. Chasely goes along with it. No surprise. James has done all her thinking since they started a relationship. Mark agrees because he’s got a thing for Chasely and he’d like to appear a bit more like her boyfriend, but mostly Mark agrees because he carries a culpable secret. They find the car and the killer 24 hours later. He’s got the same house as everyone else and a kid and a wife. Jeez, it’s anticlimactic. Then, in Chasely’s bedroom, as the girl cleans up the latest damage done to Mark’s face by an animal called Gary Parker, James floats another idea; What if the killer were contacted and told the name of a guy that they’d like to see dropped in a hole of his own? He’s their secret, isn’t he? They kind of own him, don’t they? If he thinks they might let him go he’d do anything, wouldn’t he? What could go wrong? James, Mark and Chasley are about to cross a line of no return as serial killer Ian Wright lures the vulnerable teenagers into his violent world.

Should we have a wide release "best picture" Oscar?
In the last four years an Oscar nomination for best picture is likely to be a small serious art-house drama , probably with an R rating (4 out 5 nominations for the last four years were rated R). Some of these films are deeply personal.
———————
But the industry is driven by fantasy, children’s movies, romance, horror, comedy, action and sometimes (adult comedy). The mainstay was a PG-13 movie. Out of 516 movies released this year there were 59 movies released in more than 3000 theaters sometimes called wide - release movies.
—————
It is difficult to impossible for one of these movies to get nominated anymore, let alone win. It was’t that many years ago that #1 box office movies like Lord of the Rings were not only getting nominated but winning.
—————
They are increasing the number of nominations from 5 to 10 this year so that hopefully some wide - release films get nominated, but it does not increase the likeihood that Disney Pixar’s "UP" is going to beat some small violent art house film.
—————
Should we have a new Oscar category called "best wide release picture"? Or are we just wasting our time?
Here are the wide releases in order of critical success. Obviously there are some very popular films like Transformer II are near the bottom of the list. Some movies like Zombieland were critical success but were not commercial successes.

Old Dogs
Last year Frost/Nixon was seen by 1.2 million people before nomination, 1.2 million between nomination and award show, and 0.2 million after the award show. Although I liked the acting, it presented a highly distorted view of history. And 4 million people will watch a repeat of Leno Show.
———–
I think the Oscar’s need a second award if films like this keep getting nominated for best picture.

The reason the art films are winning is because everyone was crying after LOTR and Braveheart and Gladiator and other blockbusters kept winning. This is a reaction to that. And it’s stupid.

1. The Sexy Devil(c) vs Red Sexy Cerebral Phenom for Women’s Championship. Match was fairly easy on The Sexy Devils part but hard on Red Sexy’s part. Red Sexy was dominated and never showed one bit of countering in the match because it ended so fast. The Sexy Devil agian for the second night, rolled up Red Sexy for the win. Winner ans sill Women’s Champion.

3. Destroyer vs Jesh vs Mr. President vs Haquand #1 contendership to Dynamite Title. This was a god match that lasted about 17 minutes with Destroyer dominating. The first 10 minutes of the match was decided by Destroyer dominating and hitting several diffucalt moves like a 450 slash and a superplex off the top rope onto the announce table. The finals minutes came down to Mr. President and Jesh fighting after Destroyer got tangled in the ropes. The match was decided when Destroyer and Jesh got double disqualified after Mr. President attacked both of them with a chair. Winners by Couble Disqualification Jesh and Destroyer.

4. Ace D vs Thomas Rule. If Thomas Rules win the he will get a title match agianst Ace D next week but if Ace D. Poncho dominated up until Miss Murder low blowed Poncho when his back was turned the Sexy Devil chased Miss Murder out of the ring. Cody then tagged in Mr. X who tried several pins on Poncho but came up short the turning point in the match came when Mr. X was talking to the ref and Poncho tagged Beast King in who dropped kick Mr. X into The X Messaih making the tag. Beast King right off the bat hit the Beast Driver then locked in the Beast Lock making The X Messaih tap out and bleed from the mouth agian. Winner The Revolution.
